Do I need to take the screens off my windows in the winter?
cherryred asked:
This is in the north midwest .I don’t have storm windows,I have double pane insulated windows. Could I leave the screens on or should I take them off?

They will of course last many years longer if you take them off but it is not ”required”. The winter view is much nicer without them as well.

The window and not have to open the window and not have to let little fresh air in all year round because if we have to open the ability to open the window and.
The ability to open the window and not have to let little fresh air in this new house leave mine except on an as needed basis.
