I had my windows replaced last year & Doors, but the installer has not been reg Fens. I had never heard of fenfe installer never mentioned it. Have now found that I need to have facility approved by the Council but their website says windows must meet certain requirements of thermal plant, but they are "very difficult to achieve and the installer must "prove" that the units meet and I must produce the evidence "or they will not issue certificate. Firstly, why my installer must "prove" anything, just what are the Council responsible for here, is not it their work to verify whether these requirements are met or not? Unfortunately, the installation is more commercial. What is called "Proof" and how can I provide? Or should I just do nothing and then pay any compensation policy app when I sell my house because I did not intend to stay here forever? Thank you in advance.
