Installing Glass Block Windows In Basement

installing glass block windows in basement Installing Glass Block Windows In Basement
Is this normal home to settle things?

1) Small window has a crack fracture (window is about 2 years) while suddenly. 2) cracks in the basement wall 3) is the floor is "paste" a little when I try to open it. This was not the case a month ago. 4) 2 glass bricks in the basement is cracking in half 5) sqeaking place on the floor in the living room was built in 1925, due Foundation a few years ago, has been set correctly and I-beams were installed on three of the four walls of the basement. Bill: There was a water main break about two months ago in front of our house, but also in the street and they have made a ton of work on the road. Even today, they sawed the road (to dig up more concrete). Could this have an impact on our house? It is about 30 feet in front of our house. In addition, the weather changes. It will go back above the freezing point of freezing rain and snow more recent.

Yes, it sounds like the House rules. But this is not "normal". Strange that it is set now, after 80 years? Is something happening in the area, excavation, new pipes basement during installation? Take some marbles or ball bearings and put them on the floor around the house to see what level and what is not. Is there a trend, soils on slopes in one direction? Good luck. Bill
