replace basement windows how to Replace Basement Windows How To
How I can replace a window or in a basement window?

I have basement windows are below ground level. I realized metal wells around them have come away from the house a little (house 35 + years old). How I can successfully install the new ones? What are the best ways to ensure proper drainage? We live in the Northern climate (lots of snow) in heavy clay soil. We have a sump pump.

The proper way to drain a window well is to take a post DIGGER and there and dig down several feet until you hit the gravel. Fill the hole they dug a comment with crushed stone. Then just take windowwell round galvanized steel and lead with strength to the concrete house, and you're stuffed. It is very necessary to nail down the widowell home. Indoing what one could cause a hole in the block or concrete. Fill surely keep there good enough.
